Compass Health Center’s After-School Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program treats adolescents struggling with Mood & Anxiety Disorders. Adolescents in this program continue to attend school during the day and join IOP in the evening. Compass provides evidence-based therapies to help them develop more effective coping skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). As part of Compass’s individualized care model, adolescents participate in family therapy with one or more of their family members, which greatly facilitates symptom management and overall treatment goals.
The After-School Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is also available with specialized treatment for Mental Health & Substance Use at our Chicago, IL, Oak Brook, IL, and Silver Spring, MD locations.
