Compass Health Center’s Virtual After-School Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program treats adolescents struggling with Mood & Anxiety Disorders. Adolescents in this program continue to attend school during the day and join IOP virtually in the late afternoon. Compass provides evidence-based therapies to help teenagers develop more effective coping skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). As part of Compass’s individualized care model, adolescents participate in family therapy with one or more of their family members, which greatly facilitates symptom management and overall treatment goals.
Compass’s multi-disciplinary team develops an individualized treatment plan for each patient that includes:
Compass’s customized treatment plans are tailored to the needs of each individual and adapted as needed over the course of treatment. Program participants work therapists who specialize in mood & anxiety in adolescents. This individualized approach to treatment supports teens in moving towards achieving a more meaningful and functional life.
The Bridge Outpatient Program is open to individuals who have completed Compass’s PHP/IOP programs and are ready to transition to a lower level of care, as recommended by a Compass psychiatrist. This program allows patients to continue psychiatric medication management with their Compass psychiatrist and attend Compass-led outpatient group therapy sessions virtually in a familiar setting.
Currently to participate in Compass Virtual’s PHP/IOP programs you must be physically located in the state of Illinois at the time of each day of treatment.
Additional states are coming soon!
Nearly all individuals who try a PHP or IOP find it to be better than their expectations and find the level of engagement to be impactful.
