Compass Virtual provides valuable flexibility by offering an Evening Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Program from 3 PM to 8 PM CST each weekday. This program is designed for individuals ages 18 and older whose behavioral health symptoms require PHP-level treatment but are unable to participate in morning programming for a wide range of reasons. Compass offers substance use treatment during the evening PHP hours, and trauma during the evening PHP and IOP hours.
Like daytime programs, group therapy is the primary treatment modality, providing patients with opportunities to normalize their experience, gain feedback from peers, and practice effective coping skills together. These group experiences are augmented with regular, ongoing psychiatric consultation, individual therapy, and, if indicated, family therapy, as well as experiential therapies such as art therapy or mindfulness. In both group and individual work, evidence-based therapies are used to help patients develop more effective coping skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Compass Virtual’s Evening Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program for adults provides short-term, comprehensive treatment for individuals, ages 18 and older whose behavioral health symptoms significantly impair daily functioning with convenient “after work” timing from 5 PM to 8 PM CST. Compass also offers substance use treatment during the evening IOP hours.
Evening IOP is one of Compass Virtual’s most popular programs because it allows individuals to access high-quality, advanced, intensive behavioral healthcare while continuing to work, go to school, or fulfill other daytime responsibilities.
