Program Overview- Compass Health Center

Program Overview

Compass Virtual’s OCD & Complex Anxiety Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs for adults ages 18 and older provide short-term, intensive treatment for individuals whose obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or related symptoms significantly impair daily functioning.

These programs are grounded in daily exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP) to help individuals learn to tolerate, rather than get rid of, distressing thoughts or physical sensations and live out a meaningful, values-based life despite their anxiety.

In addition to ERP, our programs have a strong focus on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as well as skill building in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Participants are encouraged to practice working through anxiety in pursuit of their personal values. In doing so, highlighting the possibility of living a fulfilling life despite the presence of uncertainty or discomfort.
