Virtual Adult Evening Program
Virtual Evening PHP Program Overview
Compass Virtual provides valuable flexibility by offering an Evening Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Program from 2 PM to 8 PM CST each weekday. This program is designed for individuals ages 18 and older whose behavioral health symptoms require PHP-level treatment but are unable to participate in morning programming for a wide range of reasons. Compass offers substance use treatment during the evening PHP hours, and trauma during the evening PHP and IOP hours.
Like daytime programs, group therapy is the primary treatment modality, providing young adult patients with opportunities to normalize their experience, gain feedback from peers, and practice effective coping skills together. These group experiences are augmented with regular, ongoing psychiatric consultation, individual therapy, and, if indicated, family therapy, as well as experiential therapies such as art therapy or mindfulness. In both group and individual work, evidence-based therapies are used to help patients develop more effective coping skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Virtual Evening IOP Program Overview
Compass Virtual’s Evening IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) is a structured mental health program designed for people who need more than weekly therapy, but don’t have the flexibility to attend traditional daytime care. Evening IOP is one of Compass Virtual’s most popular programs because it allows individuals to access high-quality, advanced, intensive behavioral healthcare while continuing to work, go to school, or fulfill other daytime responsibilities.
Virtual Evening IOP provides clinical structure, psychiatric care, and individual and group therapy, all from the comfort of home and while not missing school or work.
Like Compass Virtual’s other PHP/IOP programs, group therapy is the primary modality of treatment, providing patients with opportunities to normalize their experience, gain feedback from peers, and practice effective coping skills together.
Virtual Evening IOP isn’t just therapy. It includes:
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
- Group therapy and skills-based sessions
- Individual and family therapy
- Ongoing clinical oversight from experienced providers
All delivered virtually, with no commute, no waiting rooms, and no disruption to your day.

Treatment Modalities
Individual therapy is a confidential, one-on-one session between a patient and a licensed therapist focused on supporting mental health treatment through evidence-based care. In these sessions, the therapist and patient work together to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop personalized coping strategies and treatment goals.
The gold standard treatment for body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) that helps individuals understand triggers and replace habits like hair-pulling, skin-picking, and nail-biting with safer, more constructive ones.
Specialized Virtual Evening OCD Treatment
Compass Health Center’s Virtual Young Adult and Adult Evening Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs include specialized, evidence-based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders.
Designed for individuals (18+) who need more than weekly therapy without stepping away from work, school, or daily responsibilities, these virtual evening programs provide structured, psychiatrist-led care tailored to the unique ways OCD shows up in adulthood. For young adults and adults experiencing intrusive thoughts, compulsions, avoidance behaviors, and limited progress in traditional outpatient therapy, our specialized approach offers a higher level of structure with flexible access.
Program Highlights:
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy
- Psychiatrist-led treatment and medication management
- Individual, group, and family therapy
- Measurement-based care to track progress
- 100% virtual format
