Compass Health Center – Silver Spring provides Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) for individuals living with mental health conditions impacting their daily life. PHP dedicates six hours daily to specialized behavioral health care led by a comprehensive treatment team, including a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner, Master’s level clinicians, and specialized therapists. Individuals return home each day after the program. The goal is for individuals to step down to our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term treatment for individuals with mental health symptoms that are impacting their daily life, but who can still maintain work, school, or other priorities. This program can also be used as an initial treatment or preventative measure for those struggling with their mental health but who aren’t acute enough for PHP or residential care.
At Compass Health Center – Silver Spring, our multidisciplinary treatment teams utilize evidence-based, comprehensive mental health modalities to provide the most effective treatment plan for each individual.
