Understand What You Carry, Define What Follows - Compass Health Center

Understand What You Carry, Define What Follows

Compass Health Center’s Trauma & PTSD programs support young adults and adults whose symptoms are disrupting daily life, relationships, careers, or sense of self. Many join us when weekly therapy is no longer enough, after a hospitalization, or when they need care for both trauma and co-occurring conditions. Others arrive without a formal diagnosis but know they want a place for healing.

Our psychiatrist-led Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs combine structure, short-term intensive support, and individualized treatment to help patients stabilize and begin practicing new skills in everyday life. We provide a safe space for healing where you can feel seen and represented, surrounded by a diverse and inclusive community of patients and staff who understand and welcome you.

The past can surface in the present in ways that feel confusing or overwhelming. In connection with others who’ve been through similar experiences, what once felt isolating can become a source of strength.

On average, patients experience a 50% reduction in anxiety and depression symptoms during treatment, and those in our trauma programs see a 45% reduction in trauma and PTSD symptoms.
What Living with Trauma Can Feel Like - Compass Health Center

What Living with Trauma Can Feel Like

  • It’s the weight you carry without others seeing it.
  • It’s reliving moments you wish you could forget.
  • It’s feeling cut off from the life you want to live.

The truth: trauma is not who you are. It doesn’t have to define what comes next.

Not sure where to start? That’s okay. We’re here to talk it through.

Our Evidence-Based & Individualized Approach - Compass Health Center

Our Evidence-Based & Individualized Approach

Care begins by meeting you where you are and helping you carry what feels heavy, creating space to move toward what matters.

Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles, our approach emphasizes awareness, values-driven action, and sustainable change. Therapies like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and ACT equip you with practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and rebuilding trust in yourself and others.

With coordinated support from a trauma-trained multidisciplinary team and a focus on measurable outcomes, treatment is designed to help you reclaim a meaningful life – on your own terms.
