Rooted in evidence-based CBT and DBT, this program works to stabilize mental health symptoms for children with low to moderate needs. Programming also includes a PEERS-informed curriculum for social skills development.

Modalities

  • Decreasing depression and anxiety
  • Managing impulses
  • Increasing academic skills such as organization, task initiation, and working independently
  • Building relational skills
  • Helping families of patients support generalization of skills to the home setting
  • Medication management

All Compass programs include a family/support therapy session once a week or as clinically indicated.  External support is essential for successful treatment and is proven as a comprehensive approach to mental wellness.
