THE COMPASS
DIFFERENCE
We are dedicated to the mental health of our community. Our personal, comprehensive approach is what makes us the leader in PHP and IOP treatment.
What sets us apart?
Our model is comprehensive and intentional
Our model is designed to serve children as young as five through all stages of adulthood. Compass is unique in its ability to handle the clinical needs of patients across the entire age spectrum. The disorders we treat are equally wide-ranging and include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, OCD, chronic pain, and more.
Schedule your appointment today and meet your treatment team in-person tomorrow
We do not believe in evaluating people by phone. We see value in individuals and families meeting their treatment team face-to-face prior to making the decision to start treatment. We can schedule the intake evaluation within 24 business hours. Should a program be appropriate, individuals can start treatment as early as the next day.
We are experts
We don’t subscribe to the generalist model. We believe that every member of an individual’s treatment team needs to be an expert in that field. Exceptional care requires real expertise honed over thousands of hours. This is why our team of over 21 family therapists focus only on family therapy. Our group therapists are 100% dedicated to the art of running effective CBT/DBT groups, while our primary therapists, exposure therapists, and substance therapists are exclusively dedicated to their roles.
Our outcomes are real and we continue to improve
We collect more data over longer periods of time than any other PHP/IOP centers. We critically analyze our data to find opportunities to improve our care models. Over 90% of patients successfully discharge from our programs and their symptoms significantly lessen over course of treatment. In our child and adolescent programs, there is a 97% success rate in returning to school the same semester.
We’re deeply ingrained in the community
Every year we work with over 200 academic institutions (elementary schools through college), over 400 outpatient therapists and psychiatrists, and the majority of hospitals within 100 miles. Our working relationships extend to many of the large employers in the area, primary care providers, and beyond. We work and support many local non-profit mental health organizations to extend our community reach and help serve more people every day.
We provide robust administrative support
Navigating the mental health landscape can be complex, which is why our dedicated administrative team strives to provide exceptional support. We work closely with individuals and families to check insurance benefits, navigate leave of absence or FMLA, fill prescriptions, as well as ensure financial support, transportation, and other concerns do not delay treatment.
